Helios Theater

Grab the kid's wellies - there's a great interactive show this half term at Thornton Little Theatre.

International theatre company Helios is bringing brilliant children's theatre to Thornton on Monday 28 October with an amazing interactive show 'H2O' that's all about water.

Perfect for kids age 2 and upwards, 'H2O' invites the audience to experience water - the way it looks, sounds and feels.

It is dripping and flowing, bubbling, fizzling and purling. It is one single drop; it is stormy rain and an endless ocean. Water surrounds us every day: Running out of taps, shooting out of garden hoses, carrying us in the swimming pool or feeding us in soup. And the human body is composed of up to 75% of it!

Come and take a closer look as Thornton Little Theatre is transformed for one day only - don't forget to bring your wellies.

Chris Wyatt Arts and Events Officer at Wyre Council comments, "This is a unique and fantastic opportunity to experience one of the leading European lights in early years' theatre, Helios. We are fortunate that this show is only appearing at two venues in Lancashire, and Thornton Little Theatre is of course one of them. Not only is the show educational, but it is also highly interactive, good fun, water play.'

'H2O' takes place at Thornton Little Theatre on Monday 28 October with shows at 1pm and 3pm
