The Patsy Cline and Friends Show

Throw yourself into a world of country and western music on Sunday 2 July as the Patsy Cline and Friends show comes to Marine Hall, Fleetwood.

Join Sue Lowry as she leads the show performing the velvet country voice of Patsy Cline. A record breaking recording artist, Patsy Cline spent 251 weeks in the country music album charts in the USA. She was a down to earth country gal who could look good in western wear or any evening dress, as she performed all the country ballads.

Now you can enjoy Sue’s powerful rendition of Crazy, Sweet Dreams and I Fall to Pieces which will take you back to those honky tonk days of pure country music along with plenty more songs including, She’s Got You and Got a lot of Rhythm in my Soul.

A lifelong fan of Patsy Cline and country music, Sue comments, “Being in Patsy Cline and Friends means it’s a pleasure for me to go to work in the mornings! I was brought up by a musical family who have played country music ever since I was a little girl. I'm keeping it in the family and enjoying every minute of it.

“Patsy Cline's mum made all of Patsy's dresses and I am lucky enough to have a mum who's done that for me too! As you will see in the show all the different outfits are authentic to the era and to Patsy Cline's performances. We are on tour all over Great Britain and will be going to Ireland and hopefully Europe in 2018 – we hope to catch you at Fleetwood! Don your favourite Western wear and join us for a hayride of a show!"

Joining the line-up is Marc Robinson, who will pay tribute to the granddaddy of country music Hank Williams with songs that include Howlin’ at the Moon, I saw the Light, and Rootie Tootie.

Lee Davidge also performs a sensitive tribute to Jim Reeves with his authentic costume and iconic mesmerizing voice and songs that will include Welcome to my World, Distant Drums, and the song everyone knows and can join in with, Bimbo!

Patsy Cline and Friends is on at Marine Hall on Sunday 2 July. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £18. To book call 01253 887696 click here to book online.
