Marine Hall lends a helping hand to children across Lancashire

Marine Hall in Fleetwood has joined forces with Rock FM’s official charity, Cash for Kids, to give a hundred children the chance to come to the theatre and enjoy a fun filled Christmas pantomime.
Cash for Kids provides help to disabled and disadvantaged children across Lancashire. They raise money locally which in turn is spent locally and goes to children and young people under 18 throughout the region, with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, with behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
Ian Munro, Head of Culture, Leisure and Tourism at Wyre Council comments, "We are really pleased to be able to donate tickets to such a deserving charity. This year's panto at Marine Hall is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It's a show full of fun, laughter and Christmas tradition so we are hoping it will be a welcome treat for the children that Cash for Kids works with."
Rock FM's Charity Manager Nikki Thompson comments, "Cash for Kids supports children across Lancashire who have additional needs or who are living in difficult circumstances. Christmas is our busiest time and we are expecting 10,000 applications for help this year from social services, Head Teachers and children's homes. These children see Christmas as just another day as without the appeal they will wake up on Christmas Day to nothing. Being able to offer treats like a night at the pantomime to these children is truly wonderful as many of them have never even been to a theatre before. We are so grateful to the cast and producers of Snow White for their support this year. If anyone would like to help us with our mission to help all children this Christmas they can contact Cash For Kids on 01772 477974."
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs is on at Marine Hall on 12 - 15 December. For more information call 01253 887693 or visit www.marinehall.co.uk
